Last Minute Birthday Party in Bali

My wife, our friends and I had a wonderful and memorable time during my wife's birthday in Bali on 4 October 2008. This was made possible by the creativity, local knowledge as well as the diligence and organizational skills of Ms Vila Widuch and her team who were appointed as the party planner/event manager for the functions. Our Wedding in Bali at Atas Ombak

Bali is a place we had visited previously but we had no experience of organizing an event and so looked around for some wedding organizers. Very fortunately for us we came across Vila Widuch at Bali Experience. We also spoke to a number of others but Vila was head and shoulders above them and very much on our wavelength. Our experience of working was Vila was first class. She was efficient, organized and full of ideas with regard to venues, places to stay, added extras such as driver, photographer (Dominik who was also excellent) and so on. She made it an unforgettable experience for our family and we would strongly recommend her to anybody who is looking to arrange an event. This was all done in a very short timeframe (some 6 weeks) with minimum of fuss. I am not an easy person to work with and she was up to every task. Please take this letter as a wholehearted and positive reference to Vila and Bali Experience.

Our Bali Wedding at The Istana

I worked with Vila Widuch and the members of her company, Bali Experience, to plan my wedding held on 15th June, 2008. From my first contact with Vila via email right through until the big day, things could not have run more smoothly, and I thank her extensive knowledge of all the services in Bali, as well as her very friendly, kind and professional personality for that. Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time for a bride, not to mention when you are not even in the same country that the event is going to be held, but with Vila as my wedding planner, I didn't have a worry in the world. She told me everything I needed to know, sent me many, many photos of different options of things I could choose for my event, as well as investigating anything new or different that I may have suggested. On top of that she was always there to answer any question I had, and always replied to my emails extremely quickly.

I flew over and met Vila in February to go over the catering, flowers and venue, as well as a visit to the Australian Embassy to ensure the legal forms were submitted, and as she knew I was pressed for time she had the whole morning scheduled out for us and we completed everything within four hours - something I never thought would be possible!

Come the day of our wedding, all I had to worry about was getting myself ready, and by the time I walked down the isle, our villa (we got married at The Istana in Uluwatu) looked like an absolute fairytale. I cannot even begin to explain how perfectly the entire day went and how much fun everyone had, it went off without a hitch! All thanks to Vila of course, and all the lovely Balinese people that really do go out of their way to make sure you your stay with them is everything you ever dreamed of.

I could not recommend Vila or her company more highly.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding in March 2008

We selected the services of “Bali-Experience†and the very capable Ms Vila Widuch.

From our first trip to Bali, when researching potential venues, it became apparent that Vila is very well connected in Bali. She effortlessly showed us a number of suitable wedding venues, and was quick to point out the pros and cons of each location. We did not waste any of our short time, as Vila only showed us venues of a high standard.

Apart from knowing a good range of venues and accommodation across Bali, Vila is also well connected when it comes to catering, transport, and suppliers of entertainment. She arranged very enjoyable meetings and food tastings which were a great success in helping us to make our final selections.

After having finalised our venue and arrangements, we unexpectedly heard that our original venue had to cancel our bookings, due to seriously delayed renovation work.
Naturally this was a catastrophic shock, just a few weeks before our wedding. However, it was then that Vila really demonstrated her abilities.

With immense stress and time constraints, Vila managed to help us to secure two new venues. One for the wedding ceremony, and one for a BBQ on the second night. The wedding ceremony and BBQ turned out perfectly, and most of our international guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

I would happily recommend Ms Vila Widuch due to her good connections, friendly efficient demeanour, and the high calibre of her work. She certainly played a major part in making our wedding in Bali a wonderful experience.
